What the fuck is my social media strategy?

http://whatthefuckismysocialmediastrategy.com/ develops your social media strategy for you, or at least provides you with great ideas and concepts. For free! Are we out of a job?

On a slightly more serious note: this is a great example of the type of ad-speak we are trying to avoid here at adfact. Even though it really is, of course, extremely important to ignite the existing community and attract new members by amplifying the experience with relevant and engaging content while at the same time taking care to target influencers with engaging assets to act as platforms for conversation in order to maximise breakthrough by leveraging influencers. Is it not?

For the next pool-party: Andy Warhol meets Dom Pérignon.

Inspired by Warhol’s unconventional representation of icons, and the playful use of codes and colour in his work, Dom Pérignon commissioned the Design Laboratory at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design to reinterpret its timeless bottle. The result is a unique collection of three bottles, each with its distinct label in red, blue or yellow, paying homage to Warhol’s iconic colour games.

ALT/1977: WE ARE NOT TIME TRAVELERS

ALT/1977 is a very cool and clever retro-project by Alex Varanese. In his own words:

What would you do if you could travel back in time? Assassinate Marilyn Monroe? Go on a date with Hitler? Obviously. But here’s what I’d do after that: grab all the modern technology I could find, take it to the late 70’s, superficially redesign it all to blend in, start a consumer electronics company to unleash it upon the world, then sit back as I rake in billions, trillions, or even millions of dollars.

QLOCKTWO by German company Biegert & Funk is a clock that makes statements instead of simply pointing out the time. And it does so in 6 different colors and 10 different languages. There is even an iPhone App version available. Very nice, but quite expensive.

“We’re not doing any more Windows. It is a security effort,” said one Google employee.

“Many people have been moved away from [Windows] PCs, mostly towards Mac OS, following the China hacking attacks,” said another.

New hires are now given the option of using Apple’s Mac computers or PCs running the Linux operating system. “Linux is open source and we feel good about it,” said one employee. “Microsoft we don’t feel so good about.”
